New Feature: Export Centre - Release Target QTR 2 2026
The Export Centre will support a wide range of industry-standard spatial data file systems. By integrating these, the tool will act as a bridge between raw job data and professional Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Feature Overview: Export Centre Core Update: Ability to consolidation multiple jobs into a single document with improved compatibility utilising enhanced Spatial Data Support. Customisable Export option: Allow customisable combinations of export options. For example - Scheduled exports of different file types or the ability to select entire periods and extract all relevant data. Header Data: Optional/Removed (to allow for direct database injection and reduce potential import errors). Supported Spatial & GIS File Types (Format availability to be confirmed) The following file systems are being shortlisted for release for data mapping and export, ensuring compatibility with platforms like Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth: Vector Data - Storing points, lines, and boundaries (e.g., job sites, delivery routes). .shp (Shapefile), .kml/.kmz (Google Earth), .geojson, .gpkg (GeoPackage) Tabular Spatial - Standard database files containing coordinate attributes. .csv (with WKT or Lat/Long), .dbf GPS & Tracking - Importing/Exporting routes and waypoints from mobile devices. .gpx (GPS Exchange) Web Mapping - Lightweight data for web-based dashboards and interactive maps. GeoJSON, TopoJSON Technical Advantage: "Ready-to-Stream" Data By including these spatial formats, the Export Centre moves beyond simple text: GIS Interoperability: Data can be pulled directly into GIS software without manual coordinate or data conversion. Automated Webhook: Ability to export your data automatically in your system ready format. Bulk Export: Added ability to export data from multiple jobs into one single continuous file.
